We want every visit to Ilmaveere to leave you with a reason to return. That’s why each room in our boutique hotel has its own unique character. Our Standard Rooms accommodate two or three guests, while our more luxurious Suites sleep between two and four people, offering stunning views and private bathtubs. Most rooms also feature spacious balconies where you can enjoy the sunrise or sunset.
On Fridays and Saturdays, your stay also includes access to our traditional smoke sauna and outdoor hot tub.
Ilmaveere can accommodate up to 35 guests. If additional accommodation is required, we are happy to arrange lodging with our nearby partners for groups of up to 80 people.

Smoke Sauna and Hot Tub
Visiting Setomaa without trying a smoke sauna would be a missed opportunity. Just as families once went to church once a week, they would also visit the sauna once a week. The smoke sauna is heated for several hours, offering relaxation for both body and soul. Once the sauna is heated and the last of the smoke, known as “karm,” has been let out, the bathing can begin. A properly heated and prepared smoke sauna has no smell of smoke, the air is light, and the steam doesn’t burn. Use of the smoke sauna and hot tub is included in the room price.
